Richard Osmond has almost 30 years of experience in the mining sector including INCO (VBNC), Falconbridge and Anglo American. He was involved in exploration discoveries at Vale's Voisey's Bay deposit and Glencore's Raglan mine. He was later hired as a senior technical leader with Anglo American responsible for North America and Europe focused on Ni exploration in northern Canada, Alaska and Scandinavia as well as IOCG and porphyry Cu-Mo exploration in Mexico and Alaska. Since 2007, Richard has worked with several junior mining companies exploring in Latin America and in 2009, he founded GlobeTrotters Resource Group, a private prospect generator focused on porphyry Cu and epithermal Au exploration in South America with particular focus on Peru. Richard and his team have been responsible for several new discoveries including the Elida porphyry Cu-Mo system in central Peru as well as the acquisition of the Flur de Cobre historic porphyry Cu-Mo deposit in the highly prolific Paleocene Cu Belt of Southern Peru both of which have potential for significant Cu resource development.
